    Najai D'Raughn
Najai D'Raughn is Chief Executive Officer for Righteous Road Enterprises Inc., responsible for the overall management and branded joint ventures as well as other ancillary businesses. She was named to this position in May 2010. Previously, D'Raughn was chief visionary officer, a position she held since January 2006. In that capacity, she was responsible for providing the vision required to steer RRE's course into the future. Her visionary leadership and ideas helped move the company forward, which defined corporate strategies and working plans.

At a very young age D'Raughn discovered an attraction to the literary work of famous black women poets - namely Nikki Giovanni and Maya Angelou - and became inspired by them. She speaks of a time when she herself was that "Caged Bird" singing and when "Ego tripping" brought substance and purpose to her life at eleven years old. D'Raughn says that she strongly identified with these works and decided to utilize her own talent and abilities to deliver wisdom through her vision and writing.

D'Raughn began putting pen to paper. She began by recording events of her young life in a journal. Soon thereafter, her writing entered a healing phase as she began what she describes as "dancing on syllables" and creating rhymes. This was the beginning of her discovery that she could indeed write poetry.

By the age of 16 D'Raughn had written over 200 poems and at 21, after some serious life challenges, she began to dream of being published. She gained a sense that her work was met to be shared with the world. Two years later she became the Director of  the Public Health component domiciled at a Women's facility. Her primary focus was to develop health and healing avenues for woman recovering from Substance abuse and other public health issues such as HIV and AIDS. During this time an opportunity to write an article about the dreadful disease of AIDS and it's affect on her community. She wasted no time submitting her work for consideration and accomplished her first publication in the Bay Windows community Newspaper.

Since then she has performed in many poetry slams in the New England area. D'Raughn has also worked on many local plays in the role of Supporting Director. In 2000 D'Raughn submitted a sample of her writing to the owner of a local paper in the City of Providence, Rhode Island, where she lived at the time.

The offer was made in her salon, Najai's Aura, when the owner showed up in person requesting that D'Raughn write an ongoing column for his paper, The Providence Times. The Column was established in March of 2000 and was titled Najai's Cup of Cocoa. Cocoa is the name that she was given by her friends from high school.

D'Raughn entered the minds of many through this column as she wrote like no one else could. She spoke to the minds of single moms, male and female youth, and their responsibility as young people to those who preceded and laid the path for their successes to the significance of a relationship to GOD! Her column ran for the duration of the paper. She continued to write and partake in supporting writer spots with some local playwrights.  D'Raughn also performed a piece in the Vagina Monologues in February 2004.

D'Raughn has recently penned her first book Harmonic Twang under her pen name Logical Poetist.

Today D'Raughn resides in Texas where she continues to write poetry for her blog, Najai's Cup of Cocoa.
